The police arrested a 22 year old man from Den Bosch on Sunday afternoon in connection with the fatal hit-and-run accident on De Harendonkweg just before 04:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. A 26 year old moped driver from Rosmalen was killed in the accident. The suspect was arrested around noon yesterday afternoon in a house in 's-Hertogenbosch. Earlier in the day the police found the car that is believed to have hit the moped driver on Adijenlaan. The car's windshield was damaged. Omroep Brabant reports that the moped driver was on his way home from a party when he was hit by the car. He died on the scene. According to the police, he was hit head-on by the driver, who was busy overtaking another vehicle.
