Murder posb. as remains of man missing 5 years found

The police found the remains of a man that has been missing for 5 years in Arnhem yesterday. The Cold Case Team Rotterdam did a soil investigation in the nature reserve near Arnhem yesterday and the day before in connection with the case of Joop Vanackeren who has been missing since 2009. The team found the remains yesterday afternoon. The police suspect that a crime may have been involved. Joop Vanackeren's family has been informed. The investigation continues.
