Nadia Rashid, the mother of now 3-year-old Insiya Hemani who was kidnapped from Amsterdam in September last year, is still fighting to get her daughter back from India, where she is believed to be with her father. 

In an effort to keep her and her daughter's plight under public attention, Nadia shared a few of her "most precious memories" of Insiya on Facebook.

Lawyer Nancy Dekens accused the investigating judge of passivity in the case surrounding kidnapped Amsterdam toddler Insiya Hemani. According to the lawyer, up until now the judge has put in very little effort to question three of the suspects in the kidnapping who are abroad. These include Insiya's father Shehzad Hemani in India, a suspect who is in custody in the United States and one in custody in Iraq, the Telegraaf reports.

The authorities believe that 2009 Holland's Got Talent runner-up Lars de R. sexually abused children at a playground in Amsterdam-Oost. The police launched an investigation into an incident involving De R. and a child at Jeugdland, where the suspect regularly gave workshops between the summer of 2015 and the summer of 2017, the municipality of Amsterdam said in a statement on the playground's website.

Lars de R., the now 25 years old guitarist who reached the finals in the talent show Holland's Got Talent in 2009, is accused of child sex abuse. He is suspected of abusing five children in the Netherlands and six in India, was revealed in a hearing in the Court of Alkmaar on Tuesday, the Telegraaf reports.

At least three Dutch companies sold granite that came from quarries in India using child laborers or debt slaves, according to a study by Dutch groups Landelijke India Werkgroep, Stop Kinderarbed and Kerk in Actie, newspaper Trouw reported on Thursday.

The study focused on South Indian states. The researchers investigated the working conditions in 22 quarries and at six locations where granite is processed. In seven quarries they found child labor and in nine debt slavery - where someone is forced to work unpaid to settle debt.

A 33-year-old Dutch man was arrested in India for selling synthetic drugs from the Netherlands in the city of Hyderabad, in southern India, NOS reports. 

Indian media reports that the Dutch man is an IT specialist from Rotterdam. According to the broadcaster, he is suspected of being involved in a courier service that provides drugs to a website used by locals to order drugs. He flew from the Netherlands to India four times, often staying in Hyderabad.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a working visit to the Netherlands on Tuesday. To welcome him, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte tweeted a message to him in Hindi. While the gesture was appreciated, Rutte's message mostly left internet users confused.

The problem was that the Dutch Prime Minister forgot to add spaces between the words.

He will spend half the day in The Hague, where he will meet members of the cabinet, the Dutch King and Queen and the Indian community in the Netherlands. The goal for this visit is to strengthen ties between the two countries, the Telegraaf reports.

The Ministry of Security and Justice wants an explanation from India on why the country will not extradite Shehzad Hemani, who kidnapped his 3-year-old daughter Insiya from Amsterdam last year. The Ministry will shortly send a letter to the Indian authorities, demanding an explanation, the Public Prosecutor said in a preparatory hearing in the court of Amsterdam on Friday, AD reports.

The number of cross-border child abductions in the Netherlands showed a significant increase in 2016. Last year a total of 251 children were reported kidnapped to the Dutch center of international child abductions IKO, 14 more than in 2015, the center announced according to RTL Nieuws. 

Most of these abductions involved a parent taking a child abroad following a divorce or separation. Most of the abducted children were below the age of 6, the youngest one was two months old at the time of abduction. In 70 percent of the cases, the perpetrator is female.

The Dutch Public Prosecutor filed a legal request with India asking the country to extradite Shehzad Hemani to the Netherlands, the prosecutor revealed in court on Wednesday. The Prosecutor believes Shehzad Hemani is responsible for the kidnapping of his 2-year-old daughter Insiya in Amsterdam last year.

An international petition started by Nadia Rashid to get her kidnapped daughter Insiya back to the Netherlands, was signed by nearly 15 thousand people in a matter of hours. The 2-year-old girl was kidnapped by a group of men from her grandmother's home in Amsterdam in September last year.

Nadia Rashid, mother of kidnapped 2-year-old Insiya Hemani, started an online petition in an effort to get her daughter back from India. She hopes the petition will persuade the Dutch government to increase their efforts and the Indian government to cooperate, RTL Nieuws reports.

Shehzad Hemani, the father and believed kidnapper of Amsterdam 2-year-old Insiya, is als under investigation in his own country, the Telegraaf reports. He is under investigation for fraud, embezzlement and money laundering, according to the newspaper.

More than 10 complaints were made against him as the director of his company Conros Group and other companies. And on December 6th, he was officially charged with forgery, the newspaper writes.

Two year old Insiya Hemani, who was kidnapped from Amsterdam late in September, is doing well, lawyer Gerard Spong hinted at on television program Pauw on Monday, Het Parool reports.

Spong represents Insiya's father Shehzad Hemani, who is believed to be behind the girl's violent kidnapping on September 29th. The lawyer was recently in India to talk to his client.

Ministers Bert Koenders of Foreign Affairs and Ard van der Steur of Security and Justice are working on getting kidnapped toddler Insiya Hemani back home. They are working through the embassy in India to try and get the 2-year-old girl back to the Netherlands, NOS reports.

"The most important thing isthat we manage to bring her back", Koenders said to the broadcaster. "It is a terrible case in which excessive violence was used,  also in the Netherlands. Van der Steur called it a terrible tragedy. In the interest of the case, the minsters can't say more.

The father of a girl kidnapped in Amsterdam managed to get her from the Netherlands to Germany, now has her in India, according to the Gelderlander. The newspaper traced Shehzad Hemani and the girl, Insiya, to Mumbai managed to get his kidnapped daughter Insiya to India, according to the Gelderlander, which interviewed his attorney, Gerard Spong.
