Video: Girl found stabbed to death in Limburg home; Two adults arrested
A minor girl was stabbed to death in a home in the Blerick district of Venlo on Monday morning. The police arrested two adults, a man and a woman, as suspects. They are the residents of the home, the police said.
The emergency services responded to the home on Elzenstraat at about 6:30 a.m. Records show paramedics, police, and an air ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
First responders found the child seriously injured in the home, the Limburg police said on X. According to Hart van Nederland, paramedics stabilized the girl at the scene before rushing her to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The police cordoned off the area for investigation. As yet, investigators have said nothing about the relationship between the suspects and the child beyond the fact that the suspects are the residents of the home.
