Massive warehouse in flames in Moerkapelle as snow falls
A large warehouse on Herenweg in Moerkapelle was engulfed in flames Sunday afternoon, with smoke visible for miles around, according to local authorities. The fire broke out around 4:15 p.m., and the building was quickly fully ablaze, AD reports.
Firefighters responded with multiple fire engines and a high-rise platform, using a high-pressure water stream from above to fight the fire. Images from the scene show crews battling the fire as snow falls. Police have cordoned off the surrounding streets.
In a separate incident, authorities reported another major fire in Noord-Brabant. Details on casualties or damage in either incident have not yet been released.
