Man arrested for crashing into people at Den Bosch gas station; Two hurt
A 22-year-old man from Den Bosch was arrested Saturday evening after driving into two men at a local gas station, authorities said. The suspect turned himself in to police, Omroep Brabant reported.
One of the victims was hospitalized with head injuries, while the other received treatment on-site from ambulance personnel. Police said the collision may have been intentional and could have followed a conflict between the driver and the victims.
After fleeing the scene, the suspect allegedly threatened someone with an object resembling a firearm.
Police traced the suspect to his home, where they found a damaged vehicle. The man was not at home at the time but later surrendered at a police station. A woman who had been in the car with him was not taken into custody.
Authorities confirmed that no firearm was found in the home. Police are interviewing witnesses and reviewing surveillance footage.
