Motorcyclist killed in A2 crash near Den Bosch; Involved car found abandoned
A 30-year-old motorcyclist from Oss was killed late Saturday night in a crash on the A2 near Den Bosch, police said. A car believed to have been involved in the collision was later found abandoned on the highway.
According to RTL, emergency services rushed to the scene, and a trauma helicopter landed to assist. The crash caused major wreckage, with debris scattered across hundreds of meters of roadway.
Police discovered a heavily damaged car not far from the crash site. The vehicle, which is thought to have been involved in the accident, was empty when officers arrived.
Authorities urged the person or people who left the car to come forward. “We are calling on this person or these persons to report themselves,” police said. Investigators are also appealing for witnesses to the crash.
Traffic specialists examined the scene, but the cause of the collision has not yet been determined. The A2 was partially closed during the investigation.
