One hurt in shooting at Amsterdam hotel

One person was injured in a shooting at the Holiday Inn Express on Orlyplein in Amsterdam Sloterdijk on Monday. The victim was rushed to hospital by ambulance, according to the Telegraaf.

The shooting was first reported to emergency services at 11:22 a.m. An ambulance and a trauma helicopter were dispatched to the scene minutes later.

So far little is know about what happened. The police are investigating.
