Body, injured person, 100 kilos drugs found in Rotterdam home

The body of a man, an injured man and dozens of kilograms of amphetamine were found in a home in the Kralingen district in Rotterdam on Sunday afternoon, the police said in a statement. The injured man was arrested and taken to hospital for examination.

The police went to the home on Louise de Colignylaan at around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday after the resident's family reported him missing. In the house the police found the body of the 31-year-old resident. How he died is not yet clear. Responding officers also found a large amount of drugs - around 100 kilograms, according to RTL Nieuws - and an injured man in the home.

The 54-year-old man was arrested and taken to hospital. The drugs were seized. Various first responders were checked over by paramedics, the police said.

The police believe the drugs were processed in the home, and is investigating how this was done. The cause of the 31-year-old man's death is also under investigation.
