Body found after shooting in Breda flat

The body of a man was found in an apartment in Breda after a shooting incident on Sunday night. Whether the victim was killed in the shooting is not yet clear, NU.nl reports.

The incident happened around 8:20 p.m. in an apartment building on Sandenburgstraat, the police confirmed to the newspaper. Multiple cars were seen speeding away from the building almost immediately after local residents heard shots fired.

A police helicopter searched the area after the incident, but nothing was found. The flat and area around it was closed down as a crime scene for forensic investigation.

The police are investigating what exactly happened.
