Shots fired in Rosmalen neighborhood; two arrested

Shots were fired in a residential neighborhood in Rosmalen on Tuesday night. No one was injured, but the police arrested two persons on suspicion of involvement in the shooting, the police said on Twitter.

The shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. on Buskeshoeven.

Local residents report hearing multiple gunshots and shouting, according to Omroep Brabant. They are not surprised by the shooting.

"We saw it coming", one local resident told the broadcaster. According to the resident, there's been unrest on the street for around 18 months. "It regularly smells like weed here. Expensive cars are also often parked at a house, people come and go. There were cops at the door once too."
