Transgender person, 32, found dead in Arnhem home

A 32-year-old transgender person with female body characteristics was found dead in a home on Van Oldenbarneveldtsraat on Friday. According to the police, the victim is not the resident of the property, ANP reports.

The police immediately launched a large investigation, but still can't say anything more the victim's identity. The cause of death is also still unclear, though the police believe a crime was committed. A visitor to the home found the body on Friday and called the police.

Local residents told AD that shots were fired in the home, but the police found no evidence of that. According to the newspaper, the police were seen taking photographs of a black box and a number of bags in a lane behind the house. They were covered in blood.
