Man found dead in Arnhem home; Two arrested

The police discovered the body of a man under “suspicious circumstances” in a home in Arnhem on Sunday. Two suspects have been arrested.

The man was found dead in a home on Sterappelgaard at around 3:10 p.m. on Sunday. The police confirmed to Omroep Gelderland that the victim is a man and that he was found inside the home, but disclosed nothing about what happened to him.

Two suspects were arrested: a 23-year-old man from Zutphen and a 31-year-old woman without a registered place of residence. The police are investigating their involvement in the man’s death.

Forensic investigators were working at the scene for several hours. A mobile police station was placed outside the home on Sterappelgaard, which was cordoned off with red and white crime scene tape.
