New high speed train to connect Amsterdam directly to London

From next year it will be possible to travel directly from Amsterdam to London and back on a high-speed train. Eurostar revealed its new timetable on Wednesday and with it announced the new route directly between the Dutch and British capitals, RTV Noord-Holland reports The train will depart from Amsterdam Central Station to London St Pancras twice a day. Travel time is a little more than four hours. This is partly due to a long safety stop the train has to do in Brussels. The London to Amsterdam train, which does not stop in between, will take 3 hours and 50 minutes. The train will follow this route from next year. It will depart from Amsterdam Monday to Friday at 7:48 a.. and 4:48 p.m., arriving in London at 10:57 a.m. and 19:57 p.m. On the way the train stops at Schiphol, Rotterdam Central Station and Brussels.
