Fugitive Brit nabbed in Amsterdam during BBC shoot on fugitive Brits

A British fugitive was arrested in Amsterdam on Tuesday during the filming of a BBC documentary on British fugitives in Amsterdam and Spain. A police officer ready to give a statement for the documentary recognized one of them as a British fugitive. After checking it turned out to really be a British criminal, wanted by the British police for smuggling narcotics. The three men tried to drive away in a car, but the police managed to stop them and arrested the fugitive. He is in custody and will be extradited to the United Kingdom. A freelance cameraman who happened to be in the area filmed the arrest.
