Police searching for gunman in Amsterdam Boxing Day shooting

The police are looking for a man who shot another man in the leg on Adelaarsweg in Amsterdam-Noord on Saturday night. The shooting happened around 6:15 p.m. The perpetrator fled on foot in the direction of the IJ tunnel. A helicopter was deployed to look for the shooter, but to no avail. The police are looking for witnesses. Witnesses told RTV Noord Holland that several shots were fired.
