Dutch Popcorn Time developers reprimanded over copyright infringement

Two young Dutch developers were reprimanded after being caught trying to redistribute illegal streaming service Popcorn Time, Stichting Brein announced. The American copy right society decided to take Popcorn Time off the air last month. According to the copyright watchdog, an army of developers have been trying to get it back on air since. Brein did not comment on how these two Dutch developers were tracked down, only saying that public resources were used. The two will likely come off with a fine, mostly given their young age.
