Ajax the most fiscally stable football club

Ajax has been named the most fiscally stable football club in Europe for the second year in a row. This is according to the annual Credit Football League of S&P Capital IQ, Het Parool reports. The top 5 financially healthy clubs in Europe are, in order, Ajax, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and the French Saint-Etienne. The Amsterdam football club scored especially well in the cash area - about 86.6 million euros - and shareholders' equity - amounting to nearly 70 percent of total assets.
