Fake cops steal 85-yr-old's jewelry

Two men dressed as police officers robbed an 85-year-old woman of her jewelry after gaining access to her house Thursday morning. One of the two men talked his way into the resident's house in Ridderkerk, Zuid Holland, police say. The man introduced himself as a police officer and explained that he was checking locks and hinges at the Koninginweg house. The occupant left the man to work but after a while discovered another man wearing an old police uniform inside the home as well. After the men left, the woman discovered that her jewelry had been taken and she alerted police immediately. The case is currently under investigation.
