Girl, 10, dead as Australian molester caught with Dutch police help
An Australian man has been arrested in the Philippines on suspicion of abusing at least 8 children in a horrible way. The body of a 10 year old girl, who was (probably) killed by his abuse and mistreatment, was found in a house that the suspect used to rent. Her body has been unearthed from the floor of the house for further investigation.
The suspect's crimes were discovered by the Dutch police end 2014 when they found very violent imagery, such as photos and films, during an investigation. The suspect developed the material for his own network of people with a preference for child pornography.
The suspect worked in a refined manner to gain the trust of his young victims. He had a female accomplice, who was also arrested. The suspect led parents to believe that he provided training at his house and would feed the children, which is how he lured young girls to his house.
The man is also wanted by the Australian authorities in connection with a fraud case for which he was convicted. He is also connected to another Filipino investigation into human trafficking. Two victims laid charges against him in this case last year and he is suspected of violence against women and children, rape and kidnapping.
"The fact that we have arrested a key suspect in this case shows the importance of international cooperation." said Peter Reijnders, Program Manager for the fight against Child Pornography and Child Sex Tourism of the Dutch Police. "Violent abuse is literally limitless and deserves a boundless approach. Every child has a right to a safe life 0 anywhere in the world."
