Boyfriend arrested for Eindhoven teen's murder

The body that was found on Vestdijk in Eindhoven on Sunday, has been identified as a 17 year old girl from Geldrop. The suspect that has been arrested in this case is her 22 year old ex boyfriend from Heeze. On Saturday night the police received a report that the girl had not returned home after a night out. The police immediately launched a search. They finally found her body on Vestdijk on Sunday evening. The girl was killed by violence. A team of 25 police officers started an investigation after the discovery of her body. The 22 year old ex-boyfriend eventually turned himself in at the police station on Mathildelaan at about 20:30 on Sunday night. He was arrested. The suspect will appear before the magistrate later this week.
