3M jobs to be lost to robots

Robots are starting to push man out of the workplace, research bureau Deloitte has reported. The firm said today that some two to three million jobs could be lost to technological advancement; and that’s a conservative estimation, the researchers say. They said especially people at entry level jobs –administration, assembly, pizza delivery and supermarket stacking- will find it hard to get jobs, but taxi, bus and truck drivers also run high risks. For people who have enjoyed higher education, jobs like insurance agent, accountant, analyst and electrician will become in short supply Hardest hit will be people who did MBO level studies (1.3 million workers) and employees in the economics, law and management branches (0.8 million) and electronics (0.5 million).
