Tree trunk thrown from overpass

A Dutch driver crashed into a tree trunk, thrown in front of his car by strangers, last night in Germany. The man was driving down a country road, just across the border in Sittard, when the trunk ended up on the road from an overpass.The driver tried to make an emergency stop but could not avoid a collision. According to NOS Nieuws the driver was unhurt. The car was heavily damaged.

A little later another car crashed into the trunk. That vehicle also sustained heavy damage. The German police has no clue who's responsible for throwing the trunk down the overpass. They asked witnesses to come forth.
