Person stabbed to death in Hoofddorp home; One arrested

A person was stabbed to death in a home on Liesbos in Hoofddorp on Wednesday evening. The police arrested one suspect.

The police received a report of the stabbing at around 9:40 p.m. and dispatched multiple units, including ambulances and a trauma team by helicopter.

First responders found the victim inside the home and tried to resuscitate them, but it was to no avail. They died at the scene, the Noord-Holland police unit reported on X.

The police arrested one person on suspicion of involvement in the stabbing. So far, the authorities have released no information about the victim's or suspect’s identity.

The investigation is ongoing, and more arrests may follow.
