Fatal incident in Ede leaves one dead, Two men taken for questioning

A person was found dead Saturday evening following an incident at a residence on the Koelhorst in Ede, de Gelderlander reported.

Emergency responders had called a trauma helicopter, but efforts to save the individual were unsuccessful. Forensic investigators in white suits were at the scene collecting evidence.

Police are investigating the identity of the deceased. “At this time, we cannot provide details on what exactly happened,” a police spokesperson said Sunday.

Two men who were also present in the home were taken to a police station for questioning, their arms covered with paper bags, according to a press photographer at the scene.
