Man hurt in shooting on Hague street; Police seek witnesses

A man got hurt in a shooting on Loevesteinlaan in The Hague on Tuesday evening. Emergency services rushed him to a nearby hospital. The police found an item that resembled a firearm nearby.

Police responded to reports of a wounded man on the street on Loevesteinlaan, near Erasmusweg, at around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday. First responders determined that he had been shot and rushed him to a hospital with serious injuries.

Officers found the “object resembling a firearm” near the victim, The Hague police said on X. The police are investigating and asked witnesses or anyone with relevant camera footage to come forward.
