Australian police looking for Dutchman after finding woman dead at prestigious school

The police in Sydney, Australia, are looking for a 24-year-old Dutchman after a 21-year-old woman was found killed at a prestigious private school in the city. Both the Dutchman and the victim worked at the St Andrew's Cathedral School as sports coaches, Sky News reported.

According to the local media, the victim was found dead with severe head wounds in the bathroom of the school’s gym just after midnight. The police launched a manhunt for her Dutch colleague, who hasn’t been seen since.

The two were reportedly in a relationship that recently ended. Surveillance camera footage showed them together at the school on Wednesday night, Sky News reported.

The Sydney authorities were looking for the Dutchman on foot, by helicopter, and even called in the coast guard. The police said neither the suspect nor the victim had previous contact with the authorities.
