Body found in search for Dutchman wanted for killing woman, 21, at Australian school
The Australian police found the body of a man at the bottom of a cliff while searching for a 24-year-old Dutchman wanted for the murder of a 21-year-old woman at a school in Sydney this week. The body was found at the bottom of a cliff in Vaucluse, an affluent neighborhood in Sydney where Paul T. lived, local media reported.
The police have not formally identified the body yet.
The 21-year-old Lilie James was found killed at St Andrew's Cathedral School just after midnight on Thursday, local time. Her body was found in the bathroom of the school’s gymnasium. James and T. both worked as sports coaches at the school.
James and T. were reportedly in a romantic relationship that had recently ended. Surveillance camera footage showed them together at the school on Wednesday night.
According to local media, tradesmen spotted the body on the rocks beneath Diamond Bay Reserve at Vaucluse on Friday morning and alerted the police. The police retrieved the body and are working on official identification.
