Suspect arrested for hit-and-run with pram

The police arrested a suspect in connection with a hit-and-run involving a pram in Amsterdam on Monday afternoon. The suspect is the owner of the car that hit the pram and left the scene, though whether he was also the driver at the time of the accident is still being investigated, NU.nl reports.

The accident happened at the corner of Jan van Galenstraat and Jan Tooropstraat at around 2:50 p.m. on Monday. The driver of the car fled after the accident.

The baby who was in the pram was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The child is now home again and doing well, according to the police.
