Man hurt in Amsterdam shooting

A man was injured in a shooting on Jorens Ivensplein in IJburg on Sunday night. He was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

The shooting happened at around 11:00 p.m. in the Amsterdam-Oost area, according to NU.nl. The victim was conscious and able to communicate when he was taken to hospital, the police said.

The police are looking for one suspect. The motive for the shooting is not yet clear. The police are investigating.
