Loose cows cause multiple accidents on Dutch highway

Loose cows caused multiple accidents on the A73 highway near Oirlo in Limburg early on Friday morning. At least one person was injured in a collision and one cow was put down after being hit by a car, the Limburg police said on Twitter.

The injured person was taken to hospital. Their condition is unknown.

The police warn motorists to be careful when driving in the area. Anyone that suffered material damage as a result of the cows, can report it to the police.
