One killed, one hurt in Veghel stabbing

A stabbing at a home on Dahliastraat in Veghel left one person dead and another injured on Tuesday. The injured person was arrested in hospital.

Police officers responded to the home at around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. They found the first victim in front of the home. Attempts to resuscitate the victim were to no avail. The second victim was found inside the home and taken to hospital, where he was arrested. According to the police, he was conscious and his injuries don't seem to be very serious.

The police believe the stabbing was the result of a fight that got out of hand, according to the newspaper.
