Brand new Tesla ends up in Schiedam canal

A Tesla crashed into the water on Korte Haven in Schiedam on Monday. The driver managed to get out of the basically brand new car himself, AD reports.

The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. The driver watched as his car, which was bought in August 2017 and cost 140 thousand euros, sank into the water.

An ambulance responded to the scene, but the man said he did not want help, according to the newspaper.

Bystanders told AD that the man visited a bar before the accident.
