Childcare worker to confess to sexually abusing seven girls: lawyer

Bart C. will confess to sexually abusing seven girls at a Patrou childcare facility in De Bilt, his lawyer Chris Hesen said during a short hearing against the 28-year-old man on Tuesday. C. already confessed to making two underage girls perform sexual acts with him, and he wants to give a similar statement about the five other accusations against him, ANP reports.

"I take responsibility and am relieved that I can tell my story to the police", C. said in court on Tuesday. "I want to take away any anxiety from parents and in society and make some nuances clear."

The Public Prosecutor is charging the former employee at the after school facility with sexually abusing a total of seven girls between the ages of 4 and 10 years. He is also charged with showing his genitals to an eighth girl.
