A 15-year-old girl was stabbed at the Postjesweg subway station in Amsterdam Nieuw-West on Monday afternoon. The police believe the stabbing was a result of a quarrel within a group of teen girls, a spokesperson said to newspaper AD. Two girls were arrested.

The victim sustained cuts in one of her breasts. Her injuries are not life threatening. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The two arrested girls are suspected of attempted manslaughter and attempted aggravated assault.
