Girl, 14, forced to pose naked at Utrecht Centraal in brutal attack

A 14-year-old girl was threatened, stabbed, assaulted and humiliated near Utrecht Central Station in January. Two other girls, aged 15 and 17 years from Deleen and Utrecht, appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday as the suspected perpetrators of this abuse, AD reports.

The three girls ran into each other at the Utrecht station. The suspects showed the victim a knife and the younger of the two told her: "You're coming with us, or I'll stab you to death." On the Jaarbeurszijde, near the Rabobank, the 14-year-old girl was forced to undress while the other two teenagers filmed and photographed her. When she tried to cover up with her hands, the 15-year-old said: "Cut it out or I'll kill you."

The victim was also forced to walk into the water to her chest, still naked on the cold January night. Shampoo was dumped over her head before she was assaulted. She was hit with the knife as she tried to fend her attackers off. The two young women ran off taking the victim's bag, which contained her wallet, her phone and her tablet, and her underwear with them.

As this case involves minors, this pro-forma hearing was held behind closed doors. The Public Prosecutor also could not comment on the perpetrators' motives. According ot the victim's lawyer, the girls know each other. The case will be heard by the court in Utrecht on July 11th.
