Top Amsterdam crime boss suspected in Ireland jailbreak plot

The Irish believe that their are plans to break Amsterdam gang leader Noufal F. out of prison, according to the Telegraaf. F. is currently in custody in Ireland awaiting extradition to the Netherlands.

According to the newspaper, the Irish police have concrete indications that a special team was flown in from South American specifically to free F. during transport or from prison. When F. was transported earlier this week, all sorts of security forces accompanied the transport.

F. was arrested in Dublin earlier this year. He was caught in the home belonging to the Kinahan-clan, a major drug organization in Europe.

Noufal F. was a suspect in the double assassinations in Staatsliedenbuurt in 2012, the assassinations widely believed to have started the gang war in Amsterdam. He is currently a suspect in the attempted assassination of criminal Peter R. in Diemen last year.
