Public urinator falls into icy Amsterdam canal

An inattentive man had an icy bath in Amsterdam early this morning. The man was peeing in the canal on Oudezijds Voorburgwal and fell into the water. He was rushed to the hospital with hypthermia, RTV Noord-Holland reports.

Bystanders saw what happened and called the emergency services. The man was pulled out of the water and resuscitated.

A trauma doctor checked him over at the scene before he was rushed to the hospital.
