One injured in Rotterdam shooting

A 22-year-old man was injured in one of two shootings in Rotterdam on Sunday night. A third shooting happened in Utrecht, NU.nl reports. The shooting in which the man was injured happened around 7:30 p.m. on Polderlaan in Rotterdam-Zuid. According to local residents, at least six shots were fired. Officers found several bullet shells at the scene. One suspect, a 22-year-old man, was arrested. The victim was taken to hospital. The extent of his injuries is unclear. Later on Saturday night there was another shooting in Rotterdam. Multiple shots were fired on Vuurplaat on Kop van Zuid. As far as is known, no one was injured. The police found nine bullet shells at the scene. So far no arrests were made. A third shooting happened on Taagdreef in the Utrecht neighborhood of Overvecht around midnight. No one was injured. One suspect was arrested.
