Amsterdam home closed after 11 kilo heroin bust

A home on Wagensaarstraat in Amsterdam has been cordoned off after the police found 11 kilograms of heroin and 4 kilos of a mixing agent in the house last month, the Telegraaf reports. Given dangerous situations that can result from the presence of drugs and the nuisance caused by the cleanup, Mayor Eberhard van der Laan decided to close the home down for three months. In addition to the drugs, the police also found an automatic firearm and 15 bullets.
