Burglar turns out to be mosquito hunting neighbor

Police officers responding to a burglary report in Almelo during the early hours of Sunday, got somewhat less than they expected. The burglar in question turned out to be a neighbor hunting for an annoying mosquito with a flashlight, the Almelo police said on Facebook. A suspicious neighbor called the police when she saw her neighbor's window standing open and a man sneaking around inside with a flashlight. The mosquito hunting man got quite a fright when the police showed up at his door. "Although there was theoretically talk of attempted manslaughter, the colleagues ultimately decided not to make an arrest", the Almelo police write
