Eindhoven couple arrested for biting fisherman

A 30-year old woman and a 40-year old man from Eindhoven were detained over the weekend for abusing a fisherman. The 28-year old victim from Helmond was fishing with his friend when he was bitten on the leg by the 40-year old man. The Helmond man was then kicked and repeatedly beaten, police said. The victim told police he was sitting next to the water at the Karpendonkse Plas with his friend near the Sumatralaan in Eindhoven when the man and woman joined them. Afterwards, they abused the fisherman. Police did not reveal the motive for the attack. Officers detained the agressive couple around 6pm near de pond and put them into a cell for further investigation. The victim was sent to the hospital to treat his injuries
