Irish tourist found stabbed in the back at Amsterdam hotel
An Irish tourist was injured in a stabbing incident near Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam during the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to AT5, the tourist stumbled into the Crowne Plaza City Center Hotel on Keizersgracht with a stab wound in his back around 2:45 a.m. The hotel staff called the emergency services.
The police and two ambulances responded to the scene. The Irish tourist was rushed to a hospital.
Police officers are investigating the stabbing. The current scenario is that the tourist was the victim of a robbery or drug deal that went wrong.
