Dutch newspaper goes anti-Brexit: "Don't leave me this way"
Dutch newspaper AD took a firm stance against the Brits leaving the European Union with a full front page dedicated to the Brexit. The entire front page is covered in the Union Jack with the words: "Dot leave me this way". "An EU without the United Kingdom is like tea without milk. Bitter. So stay please. Stay with us", the AD continues. And spread over two full pages: "We love you, we need you." The Brits will be voting on whether or not the United Kingdom should stay in the EU in a referendum on June 23rd. According to RTL Nieuws, the polls so far indicate that the results will be very close. The Dutch newspaper's bold choice seems to be in response to Monday's front page of British tabloid The Sun, which in a similar way was very much for a Brexit.
