Suspect held in King’s Night stabbing at Nijmegen street party

A 20 year old man from Wijchen was arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at a King's Night street party in Nijmegen in which four people were injured.  Two of the four injured are still in hospital. The two men from Veenendaal, age 19 and 29, required surgery, but are now out of life-threatening danger, police spokesperson Frank de Valk said to the Telegraaf. The other two injured - an 18 year old from Wijchen and a 19 year old from Nijmegen - were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. According to the newspaper, the stabbing happened at the cafes Van Buren and De Skihut. The police evacuated thousands of people from the area after the stabbing. The circumstances surrounding the stabbing is still unclear. The police are investigating.
