Snow likely on first official spring day

The Netherlands may well be facing snow on the first day of meteorological spring tomorrow. Weather service weeronline.nl expects snow to draw through the country from the west on Tuesday afternoon. According to weeronline, the precipitation will start as sleet or snow and the east of the country in particular can expect a white coverage and slick roads. In the west there will be rain. Tuesday morning will start out sunny and cold, with light frost along the coast and in the east. The rest of the week will have autumn-like weather, instead of spring time weather. Wednesday and Thursday can expect a lot of wind and rain. The sun may make a reappearance on Friday.
