Boy, 4, dies after fall from amusement park bouncy ride
A 4-year-old-boy from Grootebroek died in hospital on Monday after a fall from a bouncy castle on December 31st. The spent a week in a coma in the VU medical center in Amsterdam, the Noord Hollands Dagblad reports.
The boy was playing on a bouncy castle in the Happy Days fun park in Grootebroek during a daycare outing on December 31st. He fell from the bouncy castle and landed on the floor covered with artificial turf about 1.5 meters down.
After the fall the boy was rushed to the hospital in an air ambulance.
The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
