Pregnant Rotterdam woman shot dead on Curaçao

A 26-year-old pregnant Rotterdam woman was killed on Curacao on Sunday. She was wounded in a firefight in the early hours of Sunday morning and died in hospital later in the day, broadcaster NOS reports. The woman was holidaying in Curacao with her partner. She was in a car with her partner and four children when they ended up in the firefight. Both adults and two children were rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds. According to the broadcaster, they were admitted in critical condition. The woman passed away on Sunday morning. The motive for the shooting is unclear, the Curacao police are investigating.
