Eight kids taken from drunk driver’s car

The police arrested a woman in Almere on Wednesday night for driving under the influence with eight children in the car. The woman was pulled over on Terracottastraat after the police received a report of someone driving under the influence. The 31 year old woman was visibly under the influence, according to the police, and was not able to take a breathalyzer on the street. There were eight children in the car with her. The police took the woman to the police station, where she was also unable to take a breathalyzer test. She is in custody for further investigation. The police took the children to their father's home.
