Girl, 13, held in drug trafficking case with teen boy

The police arrested a 16 year old boy fro Tolbert and a 13 year old girl from Aduard in Roden on Saturday on suspicion of trafficking soft drugs. Patrolling officers noticed a scooter turning into a restricted access street at the Nijlandspark in Roden on Saturday. They pulled the scooter over to address the 16 year old driver on his behavior. While talking to the boy, the officers noticed several bags containing soft drugs as well as several empty bags. They searched the boy and also found an amount of cash. The police arrested the boy and his 13 year old passenger on suspicion of drug trafficking. The boy is in custody for further investigation. The girl had to report to the police station to be questioned as a suspect.
